You have to go there almost daily for an ultrasound and bloodwork. Every day is something else. Vince and a nurse did the shots for me. You also have to disrupt your day because you have to take these shots on time, and the older you get, the more strict your doctors are about the time that you take it. You're like, 'I did this to myself?! You do it because you want to have the final result. Logan is such a blessing. He's like my best friend.
But I know that I have the gift of responsibility to be the woman that he has to look up to. And I will not fail at that. I have three embryos left. And I am looking forward to learning more about myself, being proud of myself and not being so hard on myself as a woman and as a mother.
It really is a choice to have a good day or to have a bad day. You can have the most jacked up thing happen to you, but the choice is how you handle it! Everybody in the world can give up on you, but you cannot give up on yourself. You have to make that promise to yourself that no matter what, I am not going to stop until I succeed at my goal. Steering clear of these foods to avoid when trying to get pregnant can increase your fertility and prevent fetal damage.
We should say: don't freak out if you've eaten any of these things recently—they are not likely cause much harm in moderation. But if you want to be safe, your best bet is to keep these foods to a minimum when you're trying to get pregnant, and keep them mostly off the list once you get a positive test, too. Being in this quarantine reminded me how lonely my son is. Braxton and Logan live in a home together with Adefeso and have been quarantine together since the shutdown alone. He loved his remaining son dearly, and sought to save him from the clutches of a woman he believed brought only death. Judah sent his messenger to deliver a kid goat to Tamar, as agreed upon, and to receive back his possessions. But the woman could not be found!
Though Tamar had crossed a line, it was not she that was to blame. It was not she who had broken family loyalty.
Interestingly, Judah demanded that she be burned alive, though her crime at that time called for stoning. She chose her words carefully. She did not cry or scream, nor did she try to blame anyone else. It was her word against his, and Tamar was aware of the predicament in which she found herself.
It was a powerful moment, and Judah was broken. To his credit, Judah made the right decision. The battle of the womb had been won, and twin boys were the outcome. A double victory? More than that, the descendants of these twins would later merge, forming the lineage of King David and of the Messiah. From stolen seed came monarchy, and from weakness came power.
